I’ve never been into a gen 4 short of swapping cams in LS2s and 3s. What is involved in converting a LH9 5.3 back to gen 3 standards. I’m going carb so vvt and dod will be removed. What needs to be swapped out to disable this short of swapping timing covers cam gear and using normal gen 3 lifters and pushrods? Basically I plan to turn this into a 5.7 and swap cams and go carb. Do I just remove the solenoids, leave them in as plugs.
