Sounds ideal to me. Have headers/intake otw to me now. How do you feel about cai? Like the vararam@lazerlemonta

Wb in the works. Just needed to know if I needed it for the bolt ons. Will also need to fix some weird limiter issues it has now, I think it had a shitty tune on it, though the PO claimed untuned. Sometimes itll hit the limiter in 1st.

If you are getting into any boost I would make sure you have a wideband, but while you're just idle and cruising speed tuning with narrows will be fine to start. Just make sure you have an extra bung in your exhaust for the wideband so it's easy to add later.

Any input on head gaskets?
There really is no bad choice in head gaskets. I used cometic .041 to help bump my compression. You just need to cement a plan and determine what your doing.

We manufactured my own ram air and utilized the stock filter housing. My car sees 96-101KPA. Vararams work well too

Yeah boost is probably next winter at the soonest. My plan is pretty much the same. Bolt ons, then do cam/lifters/etc. Tune that and get a dyno curve. Buy stall.

Then some point down the road snag a centri. If theres a headgasket I can buy now that holds up better to boost Id prefer to do it now. Hence the ls9 suggestion. Not too worried about bumping compression for n/a performance. Stock cr would be fine. Would prefer to stay pump gas, maaaaaybe e85 once boosted way down the road. E is just so hard to find around here sometimes.

Both accomplish the same goal. Depends on how I feel when I get there. Just sheet metal under the shroud?

So its basically just a scoop down through the shroud right? Do you have to cut the airbox? Just seal it back up?

4.10's are WAY too low for a C6 6l80! First gear in a C6 6L80 is 4.02 and second is 2.36. You would need to start off in second with 4.10"s!

As far as cam specs. I had/have (RIP) a 223/235 610/620 115 in my C6 with an A6. Ran it with a stock stall and stock 2.56 gears for a while and it was very drivable. It put down 473 ish RWHP (forgot the exact number) using 1 7/8 long tubes and a ported Fast 102 intake and a ported throttle body with a conservative tune. I had some rear end noise so I installed an RPM stage 2 built diff and went with 2.93, gears along with a Yank 3000 stall while I was in there. Great combo! You may consider going as low as 3:15's or at the most 3.42's but check with your tuner with while specing your cam.

So update, headers and X pipe on along with the gpi intake. Turns out someone accidentally sold dad two right zr1 mufflers so Im working on getting that fixed so I can install mufflers. Hate the straight pipes.

Did a tune up and oil change as well.

Turns out the car has a rebuilt diff? Has a tranzilla plate on the rear, which according to rockland standard gear means its a rebuilt 05 diff with 3.42s. So thats kind of strange but good I guess. Probably explains the weird shifting due to the rpm and mph not matching what the tcm wants to see.
