Ls7 cam specs

Z06 cam specs
hi we have this cam in a z06 here in the uk, how would you expect it to drive? It stalls very easily when cold and surges very badly at low rpm, we also have another car with a mast motorsports 650hp ls7 and this doesn’t seem anywhere near as bad although to me the mast cam looks more aggressive so I’m doubting the map in the z06 as it drinks fuel as well what are your thoughts?

Sounds like tune to me. My cam is much larger and none of those issues. Likely you are rich at idle and unoptimized spark

I agree.

That looks like a nice cam and should make some good power on an LS7.

Definitely needs a professional tune.
My camshaft has one degree more overlap in a smaller engine and runs really well.
Specs are good but I would advance it one more degree and put it on a 111ICL.
