So you guys don't have these kits in the USA then?
It's been in the states for a few years. CPS offers the kits and has made youtube vids about it. I think its neat. Not sure if it's similar with the Dodge setup?

Triggered much? Are you 6 years old, name calling really? I don't even know what you are challenging? I'm not trying to impress anyone so I guess I will handily take whatever disappointment comes with that.
Now you can start your weekend off feeling properly big headed about yourself over someone's random post on the internets.

The FI interchiller does work on circuits but your AC turns off at WOT on most newer cars and the interchiller runs off of ya AC. Its really made for drags, do your run, switch on ac come back around and ready to go. I know the owner of FI interchillers fairly well.
Sells heaps in the states, pick up good hp

They have been in the states for years and have been used to turbos cars as well. However they really didn't work any better then a typical intercooler so we removed it and the AC lol

Problem with turbo builds, most are A2A intercooled
Ya track guys go nuts when anything drips, even a drop out of your IC trunk tank drain or even just condensation when filled with ice. I agree majority of turbo builds are A2A, but with E85 and methanol I see more and more setups not intercooled at all and running very well.

Yup. Its all about your reservoir capacity. Takes longer to heat up 20gallons of water than it does only 5 gallons...But who wants 2 fuel cells in the "boot". I had a few extra gallons of cooled water in a reservoir strategically placed over my rear axle, even insulated it. you can see my set up in this video. But again, the additional costs and parts start adding up and vehicle turns into the nasa space shuttle of gizmos n gadgets.

The point was, you go through most of the threads on here shitting all over everyone’s builds and ideas if they aren’t building a 5.3 turbo. When you get challenged, you create straw man arguments you can’t even back up, then deflect when you have nothing rebut with. It gets old quickly. Was hoping to have a little debate and learn something, but I’m just left disappointed.

You could have used it as an opportunity to spread wisdom. If you can make forced induction cars run hard on road courses, why don’t you drop a little knowledge on us? Everyone is here to learn. Instead, the straw man comes out with “WeLL iMsa CaRs hAVe TuRBos” and nothing else of any sort of substance to back it up.

Good lord I'm living rent free in your head this week... so weird you even pay that much attention to me, its creepy like an ex girlfriend. But I'm glad you are disappointed, hopefully I can pile some more on you!

Not sure when I **** on anyone's builds, unless they were wasting their time building an engine for less power then a SBE 5.3 makes. Speaking of 5.3's want a cool running car slap a 5.3 in a C6Z and it runs pretty chilly! Sure its not the fastest thing around but whatever its good enough for me.

Come on man, no need to flatter yourself. I don’t think about you all day like your creepy ex-girlfriend, but we probably do share feelings of disappointment.

Tell is about your chilly 5.3. You’ve made quite a few claims about it, but have told us nothing. Drop some knowledge on us! I’ve seen so many people struggle at road courses with heat soak issues in cars not originally equipped with FI. Hell, I’ve seen plenty of LS7 equipped C6z’s run warm at the track due to the bottom feeding radiator. That’s why forward facing radiators and hood vents are extremely popular modifications on those cars. I’d love to know what you’re doing so differently to avoid those problems. Come on man, that’s what the forums are all about -sharing knowledge.

You bragged yourself as "building racecars for a living", so as a professional you should already know how to make a car work properly no matter the customers desire. A professional shop having to leverage forum users knowledge is pretty hilarious. Beauty of it is, I don't have to tell you anything... queue an old saying about teach a man to fish. But you are on the right course, she is no longer a bottom feeder, has upgraded cooling, and also many a hood vent. As far as 5.3 performance I've posted plenty about it, apparently you stalk me so much it should be easy for you to find.

As far as more purpose built FI cars that I've done in the past, I purchased an SCCA car that was already prepped safety and suspension wise... and then made it "illegal" with power because that's just the way I am. The FI power certainly never substantially faded and it never overheated, and there is no "limp mode" with standalone ECM's unless you create one. I don't have time money or desire to class race so I just mess around at the local HPDE's when I can, I never claimed to be a professional like yourself and even if I was I wouldn't brag about it on the forums.

It's a patent pending design which has had huge success down here but the kits are super expensive.

Once the intercooler fluid passes through the chiller it is supercooled to below freezing temperatures which then lowers your intake temps of your water to air intercooler system of a supercharger or turbocharger. The interchiller can be fitted to any car or truck as long as the car has a water to air intercooler system (supercharger or turbo charger) and an AC system. It also has no limitation to HP, it can deal with it, so far the biggest build it has been involved with has made 2400HP. You are able to hot lap the cars at the track back to back with the same consistency every run, by the time you collect your time slip you are back to your minimum intake air temp and ready to go again.

The new BMW M5 with it's twin turbo v8 suffers heat soak also.
On a 32 degree celcius day the engine only revs out to 5500rpm in order to deal with the heat.
And the fans still operate after the car is turned off.
To design a really efficient cooling system would be expensive and also, the engine bay has hardly any room to move in those cars either.
Only issue with this is it will drip condensation like a ****. Most decent tracks would tell you to put it on the trailer if that were to happen sitting in the beams. I am sure on a road course it would be over looked until the other racers came over and asked if you were really running with the ac on lol

I feel the same. I've built engines for all types of applications and I like building NA stuff because it is more difficult; not everyone can do it well. There's not much of a challenge to making power when you have a turbo or blower. To some people that is appealing, but to others, it's not.
