It's all good.
At the end of the day it's just a vehicle for fun.
I can always come back to it another time in the future.
It is a bittersweet moment but life sometimes you need to sacrifice.

Sorry to hear this news Bortous, but I’ll say the opposite of the others . Do everything in your power to hang on to it. Your going to lose a heap of change from works already done. Since Holden closed the lowest % rise of all hsv models is 30% increase in value. HSV Vx”s with 130k plus ks on them are fetching $65000 where as before Holden closed you could pick em up for $20,000, and all hsv models are just going to get more expensive. To get back in you’ll pay thru the nose
I paid 16k for a vs senator215i with 45,000 on the clock five yrs ago, there asking over 100k for em now with over 100,000ks on em, whether there selling is another story tho.

Loses Value (Rule 1 from Pops on a Car *ASE certified mechanic *RIP*). This is from someone with No 401k and HOOD. Reason i do 1 part @ a time this is a Expensive Hobby. It's all good when the $'s good

Mick has a valid point keep it and just take a break. I'm not selling any of my cars or any of my parts. Been there done that in the past not worth it. With inflation you will just end up backwards if you sell it all. I'm taking a break from my camaro for a while as it eats up too much of my time an energy especially as i do most of the work myself but i'm not selling any of it

Been here before myself....... Sorry Peter Personally I would try and find a motor, swap it and sell the 434. You will make more in the end. They have LS3 for $4999 here in USA or even find a junk yard motor for it.

B's got one or 2 choices.....
Sell it as is with the 434 or replace it with the 408 that needed a little fixing. Selling the engine alone would be Best done by Someone like
Mamo with someone Who's wanting his product.
Racing Junk is losing on what's been spent, or Pennies on the Dollar. Who's got 25k on tap? Sell the whole package with rwhp dyno #'s. Key is finding someone on the market, for your idea oof a car. SELL THE NAME MAMO YOU'VE ALREADY PAID FOR THE PRODUCT.

Indeed. He could sell the 434...or part it out...and make more from it than selling the whole car. Won’t make a difference what engine is in the car as long as it’s a good running LS. A car like that won’t sell for more money with 600hp vs. having 400hp.
