I’d recommend a mp5 👌🏼 Great shooters, mag prices are the only downfall.

Update, I ordered some carbon doors from Hairy Glass as they are only 3 hours away from me. Would be nice to get the car down to 2300-2600 pounds

Got all the Lexan Ordered up the last two days, I went with clear all the way around. I love the tinted look but in a race car there's just something about seeing the cage work. Also I got the ball rolling on a Neil Chance converter, going to be running a bolt together with a aluminum front. I like how easy it will be to make changes also when I start spraying the car I don't have to buy a whole new one. I still have to call Tim Mcamis to order the door hinge kit and upper window latch. Hopefully this car starts to come together in the next two months, it would be nice to have it ready for the end of the year with some nice weather.

Deck Height question, the paper work from LME states a deck height of 9.700, I am going to be ordering a CDI intake and they offer a 9.75 height this should fit with minimal to no machine work?

Maybe, 9.720" semi-finished standard deck height (ready to be decked) that's what's listed for the block on the gm website but maybe the decked it to what they wanted.

Yes, intake should work fine. Mock it up without the gaskets and use feeler gauges to see if anything needs cut. The o-rings make up the variance most of the time, unless something has really been cut on.

sweet, I talked with CID yesterday and got it ordered up as well as the Accufab 4500 throttle body. Once I sell the Frankenstein intake I’ll order the Nitrous outlet Kraken plate kit.

We will see, i think this was the right intake for the motor to begin with. Not knocking the FED its an amazing part, also with the CID the Nitrous setup will be much easier and cheaper to do.

For sure a carb intake will do great, we have made 930-950HP with our Freak Show 427ci N/A just all depends on the combination etc etc.
I'd like to see how you will do with the CID N/A.
