It’s not a RSM cage, they just got the basic 10 point done, it’s getting a 25.3 cage.

Well after a year the motor is finally back at the shop for good. But......... upon further inspection more parts are damaged 😣. Now it’s the intake, there’s a gouge in the front runner, it’s always something on this motor! Talked to LME again and they are trying to get a replacement runner.

At least now I can get it to the chassis shop and get it in the car and start moving forward.

At least the damage is cosmetic and not functional this time.

I doubt the scratch bothers him as much as the obvious carelessness. We pay good money and wait patiently for this stuff. Least they could do is invest in alil handling care.

Agreed, especially factoring in the actual cost of that intake and coating it.

Naww man it’s on making it right, I paid $4k for a billet intake that I didn’t even touch to have it scratched ( it’s a gouge) on the runner. I have waited a year for this bitch it’s got to be perfect. This was just the last straw, I went off on LME.

Beautiful engine and for what you paid I would expect and accept only the best workmanship that includes crap like that deep gouge.

I hate to ask how much is in it. My last build intake to pan was over $20k so I can only imagine your total bill on that bad boy.

Where do you plan to run the car? I'm up in central, FL. Would gladly make a trip to see her go down the 1/4 mile.

Yep, and I’m not one too bitch but that just send me over. Lol I can say what I have in it and the cost to replicate it are two different numbers, but there’s about $35k intake to oil pan. 😱

mainly PBIR but I used to live In Orlando and still have family and friends so OSW is in the plans to run at.

My God man, just how much **** should one person have to take. I feel very bad for you. That is one bad *** well thought out motor that is going in a very sick *** well planed car. I don't blame you. I would be LIVID. How much could it cost to simply build a 2x4 crate completely around that bad boy. I wouldn't care if it costed 200 to build the dam crate when you got 40,000 dollars to protect. You would think they have them already built and on hand ready to drop motors in them.

You may not believe this but me and a friend are going to head to Florida for some festivities. I showed him your thread and he looked at me and said the same thing I was thinking. Where in the hell is LME. I don't know why but I thought it was in Georgia. We looked it up and saw it was in Texas, Dam it. If it was on our way we had every intention on talking to you, and volunteering to pick that bad boy up for you in my Yukon Denali and bring it to you. There are 4 points for ty downs. With it on a stand like that and 4 straps you could roll that thing and it won't move. Had to hammer the brakes bringing our motor home and it didn't move, and I mean hammered the brakes good.

Anyways, Best of Luck to You Man. Sorry your going through this crap.
