So, I think that since the motor is going back to LME I'm going to make some changes to it. 1 there were supposed to be gas ports drilled in the pistons, paid for but didn't get, that needs to get done. 2 install a Jesel drive belt setup, will help with the harmonics of the motor and maybe allow me to rev to 9K rpms, also adding the larger bore Jesel liters in there. This motor should really sing at 9k lol.

Damn right you should get gas ports drilled at the very LEAST since you paid for it. They need to drop a few long wheel base 10s in the box when they ship it back

So apparently the pistons did get the gas ports, so there's that. Also they priced me out of doing the belt drive and larger lifters, you can tell they just want the motor gone at this point.

High volume shop, but if you've got a Big name 👍 service with 5 star treatment. I won't even say what happened to me but, I would Never recommend them. Damn near went off on Bryan...stated I had a cluster F* with a bare head that needed assembly. Got my money back, went to another group to do the work.
i was very 😁 with the work done. 👍
🤔 My heads were at LME 9 months for assembly, the other group took 1 week! Conversation went like, Bryan I gave you $2000 for assembly - I didn't ask for this, nor this, this either = return of $1600+

Well there’s. It much to update, FED has the head back and is waiting for payment from LME to move to Get it fixed. Talked with the chassis shop (have had the car for 2 month) they have yet to get to the car and it’s not looking like it for another 3 weeks. **** doesn’t look good for me to get this car running this year. Maybe 2021 will look better.

I’m curious why you went with a stock diameter cam core and lifters with this type of build?

What is the compression?

Where are you wanting to make peak power at?

Eric post #32 stated 15.1 and 8000 to 8300... 😉

Ended up at 14.1, the motor was planed to only be spun to 8500, large bore lifters and a belt drive were never discussed until it was too late in the build. I was leaning on LME on that . Peek power was always going to be in the 8000-8300 range. But from one graph It was like 8800 and still pulling.

Finally got word on Monday that FED shipped out the replacement head and valve cover. I would think LME gets back on The motor and I should see it in a week or 2.

Still nothing on the chassis shop

update as of 11/30/20
