Got word today that the car is on stands and leveled out to start the cage! This may be the week we finally get to see progress!

side note the CID intake should also be here this week!!

i need some good news after finding out Friday I have 2 partially torn ligaments in my ankle, luckily they shouldn’t require any surgery to repair them.

Oof. Anything to avoid joint surgery. Ive been putting it off for a few years on my knee, probably going to concede to it next year. Sounds like a cement mixer and just doesnt move some mornings. Im 36 but my knees are like 74. Lol.

Any chance you know the valve spacing on those f710 heads, or could measure how far apart the valve stems are from eachother?

Can you measure from valley plate to top of TB for us? I’d like to know how high this thing is for height purposes in my own car.

CID is the 5.0, Measures 11 3/4, now this is a standard ls7 block and heads. The intake is for a tall deck, it may change but this would get in the ballpark.

I’m back and forth with the idea. The MSD is very streetable and it drives easy. I could easily put a CID on it, throw a big cam at it, and put down over 700 wheel, but I’d give up the cruisability it has which is fun, for an occasional WOT blast that would likely drive terrible. I’d like to leave the cam alone, and just see what the CID and the DBW TB does for it, but it’s an awful expensive experiment. The TB is north of $3k alone. If it was a race car, this would have happened long ago, but it’s just a cruiser.
I’ll make sure that the plastic MSD doesn’t end up in an ocean.
