yea it was a big loss, I still remember getting dropped off in it at school. But this new car will be everything that I wanted to do to the old one.

Update as of today

The pistons are still mia from Diamond, there’s no time frame and that’s the worst. But I did get the Stage 5 MWC front end kit in and the Magg Performance carbon roof in. Also i ordered the last of the Holley Dominator setup and smart coils.

car looks killer, love the hoosiers on the back. I'd really like to know how the roof install goes, and can wait to see it on your car. My car looks alot like yours and I'm planning on doing the same roof this winter. Are you going to cut out as much weight as you can why the roof is off?

that it does, I know it takes time but dam this really sucks! I was at least hoping to have the car together by now. Still going to have to take it all back apart for paint.

Yes I am going to cut the roof and try to pull the weight, every little bit helps. Should be a smooth install, I’m going to have the body guy glue it on tho.

If Diamond would ever make the pistons we could do something. I'm going to be installing the front suspension this weekend but after that I will be at a stand still again.

Update as of today, LME has the pistons, finally after months of waiting on Diamond!! LME is getting right on the motor and should see it in a few weeks. I have ordered the rest of the oiling system from Peterson, 3 gallon fuel cell, and the cooling system. All parts are coming from the manufactures so will see how long it takes to get them.

I don't know if I'm crazy or what but I would love to have the car ready for LS Fest in a few months, that may not be in the cards but I'm sure as hell going to try!!

So I have been waiting for the motor to be finished up, I had a customer come in last week and asked if I want to buy his SS. So I looked at it today and needless to say I took it home!
