Default 2007 Escalade cam advice

Hello everyone, I recently acquired this 2007 Cadillac Escalade esv. It constantly throws the infamous p0011 code, making the service stabilitrak and traction control messages appear on the dash.

I have tried pretty much everything except changing the actual oil valve bolt in the cam and honestly I'm getting tired of chasing it. I am seriously considering deleting the vvt and putting a mild cam in. Like mild enough that I dont need a different torque converter.

I thought about buying and using hp tuners to just disable the vvt but if the cam isn't going where it is supposed to with vvt active, then who's to say the cam will be where it needs to be with the vvt disabled?

Here are the two cams I have been thinking about.
First one is; 220/232 113lsa .600/.600 lift, Second one is; 219/231 115+5lsa .619/.598 lift.

I'd like to know what you all think about them. Or maybe even point me to a cam you think would be better for my application. Both manufacturers told me they would be good for about ~50hp with a good tune. (I will be attempting to tune myself for my first try with hp tuners)

Thanks for looking everyone!
Let me know if you have any advice or comments.

Of the two, I like the first one better. Personally, I tend to see those wider splits when you intend to carry high RPM power, which an escalade is not going to like if you lose the low end grunt with the vehicle weight. i would run something like 220/226-114+5, honestly, if not something even smaller, such as 218/224-114+4

Summit 8720 is about as big as you want to go. L92 heads stall around .600” so no need to go more. Would work with stock converter but at 5800lbs, you’ll probably still want one.

If you want something easy to tune, will play really nice with a stock convertor in a 6000lb SUV, and still make 50hp more than stock, look at the TSP Truck Stage 2 High Lift. 212/218 .600 lift, and order with a 114LSA. It'll pull like a freight train from cruising speed up.

Thank you for your input, I will look into these as well. Fyi the first cam I listed was a tsp cam.
