Wondering if a Holley high ram would help this combo
C5 corvette with level x trans and 4000 Stall ,3,73
Current set up
Stock bore LS3 415
GMPP LS9 CNC Heads
236/250 115+4 lsa Cam.
LS3 manifold ported with a 102MM Throttle body.
Timing is at 24 degrees.

This was my best pass and i think there is more in the 60 with better track prep.

1/8 -6.63 @103 with a 1.425 60' Looking for 6.4 (9.99 1/4)

Did you ever try more timing? Like 26-28*. Is your tune done as well as it can be? A hi ram would add power but usually create hood clearance issues, but that may be enough right there if everything else is correct. That doesn’t look like an easy combo for a 9.90 car What does your car weigh?

Little more info, what compression are you running? Air filter system? Exhaust? Little stuff can have some easy time in them, just have to hunt.

That cam would not be ideal for a hi-ram setup, nor would your converter.

Is this a drag only deal?

Hi-ram is going to want a way bigger cam with more overlap, a 6000 stall converter and at least a 7500 rpm shift point.

All of my ls3 headed motors have made best power at 28-29* timing on pump gas, but I have seen people limited to less before.

You can definitely get into the deep 9's with a 416 so it is really as crazy as you want to go.

I have not tried any more ignition. This was first event at track( been closed do to ******* covid)
Compression is around 11.6 ish
1 7/8 long tube headers and dual 3 inch exhaust.
Short 4'' intake with velocity stack type inlet
weight is prob around 3000 without me.

I am going to do a plug read this weekend. Car runs on pump 91+ full can of vp Octanium and meth injection with small nozzle.
