Default Going backwards I have an ls2 gen 4 truck putting an lq4 in there.

What did you do for knock sensors?
did you use knock sensors for the lq4 inside the valley plate?
What conversion harness did you use?

Did you screw the ls1 style knock sensors in somewhere?

This block does not have the bosses for me to tap the ls2 sensors in the side.

PLENTY of info forbputting a gen 4 in a gen 3 car but nothing on going backwards..

2007 trailblazer ss getting an early gen 3 6.0 block.

The biggest issue I see is 58X vehicle going to 24X engine. Lingenfelter makes a module adapter ($275) for a 58X engine going into a 24X vehicle and can't be used the other way around. You could tear down the LQ4 and have a 58X crankshaft reluctor wheel installed. Then you'll still have other issues like the knock sensors, map sensor, cam sensor etc. which can be adapted using wiring harness adapters.

It has a 58x reluctor this motor was just built. Everything from my LS2 is moving over to the
Its the knock sensors are the only thing I see that will be different. Ill reuse my timing cover and front cam sensor. I guess I am supposed to block off the one in the top of the rear of the gen 3 block?
