home shop- porting a new oil pump

I'm rebuilding a gen IV 5.3. i need to buy the equipment. What are people buying as far as tools for porting/polishing. I have an old pump to practice with. I also want to get into working on LS heads.

For an oil pump?
Dremel works excellent.
Buy a flame shaped carbide bit.
