Default LS3 take out cylinder discoloration?

I recently purchased a take out ls3 with about 50,000 miles on it and popped the head off and one of the cylinder walls is discolored. I’m about positive they didn’t turn it over after it was pulled. I lubed it up and turned it over as soon as I got it. It feels smooth where the discoloration is. Was curious if this is normal or will hurt anything when it’s up and running? All the other cylinders look perfect TIA

Spray some WD40 on a microfiber and see if it wipes off. Hard to tell from the pic but if it turns smoothly and there are no gouges in the bore, I'd venture to say its good to go.
