BTR stage 3 or Gwatney are good and should clear. Summit has some too.

Look at the other commotion cams...Titan series...the dyno was done on an LY6 for Titan 3 and Titan King and the graphs are there for you to see what they made for power.

That Cam Motion CXM-03-01-0077 Junkyard Dog LS3 cam is a good one. With stock bottom end, factory heads, and factory thickness head gaskets you shouldn't have any PTV issues. We see Cam Motion still recommends checking PTV as do we. It's just something that should be checked when doing a cam swap.

We have a couple of LS3/Rec port flavored cams. The first one we'd look at is our Pro LS stage 3 "extra clearance" SUM-8710R1. Specs on it are .625/.605, 230/242, 113+3 with 10* of overlap. The 8710R1 will allow the heads to be milled slightly and maintain PTV clearance. Things vary so we recommend checking PTV before final assembly. It has a strong steady lope and accelerates hard in the mid-range and top-end. Stock gearing is ok but we recommend a 3,000+ stall converter. Pair it with some .660" lift duals and it'll be happy out to 7,000+.

A step up from there would be our Pro LS stage 4 "extra clearance" SUM-8711R1. Specs on it are .625/.605, 234/248, 114+3.5 with 14* of overlap. You'll have a strong lope with the 8711R1. It's designed for maximum acceleration with the factory style intake. The 8711R1 is the largest Pro LS cam we offer that will fit an LS3 with un-milled heads. As always we recommend checking PTV before final assembly. We recommend deeper gears and a 3,500+ stall converter when going with the 8711R1. It'll be happy out to 7,000+ with .660" lift duals.

We know our customers like combos so we offer a variety of combos for most of our Pro LS cams.

wouldn't the "LY6" part of the equation only matter if the deck height of the block had been changed significantly from the stock 9.240." The heads on LY6 are more than likely 823's, which all of the info about can be found here from summits great engine resource page(s).

Doesn't the LY6 pistons come factory with fly cuts vs the LQ9 flattops with no cuts?

WS6Store High Lift ASA Cam 226/236 .600/.600 110

or

Summit Racing Stage 2 Cam 226/238 .600/.600 113 + 3

3:73 or 4:10 gears with a 3600-4000 Stall

I have an FTI 3200 Stall with 3:73 gears which to me is too tight. That's why I say a 3600-4000 stall

Sorry for the delayed response. The 8710R1 will clear by plenty with the LY6 due to it's 6.7cc dished pistons with valve reliefs. It will work just fine with the 9.6:1 compression being in your '93 Fox body. Just make sure to run a 3,000+ stall converter to get the most out of the cam.

You'll need some pushrods as well. We typically see a 7.425" pushrod used with the 8710R1. Things can vary so we always recommend measuring for pushrod length before purchasing pushrods. If you don't already have a pushrod length checker we offer the Trickflow TFS-9501. For pushrods, we recommend a minimum of a 5/16" Chromoly pushrod with a .080" wall. You can typically find a set of 16 for around $100. From there you can get into a thicker wall or larger diameter pushrod. For excellent stability and strength check out our 11/32" HDR pushrods with a .120" wall. These have 25% less stress and 28% less deflection than a typical 5/16" x .080" wall Chromoly pushrod.
