Pretty sure it was a dyno jet SAE corrected.

What did yours put down? What mods?

Really need to find a good set of heads. WCCH and AHP don't have me convinced. Might go LPE or LME

I imagine much worse for any head or engine damge due to use.
Why the heck would Scoggin-Dickey or GM's engine warranty be responsible for any transport damage? Thats just silly.

You didn't get denied because you accepted a damaged item without inspection, you got denied because it's not any 'defect in materials or workmanship'.

Gm performance dealers handle the burden of warranty inspection. I spoke with a few across the country while trying to source an engine. Blueprint engines are the way to go, no questions asked. Scoggins and others may assist in the process if a failure occurs, but like many they will be looking to deny at any chance they can.

You should have gone after the carrier. They broke it. They fix it.

I changed to a milder cam, and it's in an A4 with a 3,200 Yank. It made right at 500whp, on a Mustang dyno. Cam is Futral Cammotion, 232°/250°, .610" lift, on a 112° LSA. I wanted to keep lift relatively low due to the LS7 heads. The other cam I had in it was originally ground for an LS1/1.7 rockers. With 1.8 LS7 rockers, specs were: 238°/242°, .638"/.646" lift, on a 114° LSA. Kinda wish I'd kept it. It made 617hp@6,300 rpm@crank, with 565 ft/lbs torque@5,000 rpm. So that one was probably making around 540whp. Remember this was thru an A4, in a 2000 C5. Stock LS7 intake and TB, heads cut .020", 1-7/8" Kooks, 25% UD ASP balancer..

May just throw a set of Johnson's in there.

Of course that voided my warranty but it is what it is. I'm in it for power and not a daily driven LS3. Long term goal is to make it a forged 418 stroker so I'm not too worried either way

How has it worked out on stock lifters so far?

Just blew my LS7, might go this route for LS3, have to cheapo on it after the loss on the LS7!
