Canted valve heads
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
GPI has their cathedral cnc version out and the square port is coming very soon they said.
Hopefully we'll see some combos using these soon. Looks like they're going to make some good power.
From GPI:
I'll let "slip" a few details of the iterations before we launch the LS3 Style! (Cathedral is already available)
2.125/2.165 Intake Valves Stainless or Ti
1.59 Stainless 1.600 Inconel or Ti
2 Chambers STD/Large Bore
(Small 5Xcc NA chamber, if demand is there)
STD Ductile Iron Seats, CHE BE/BX available
CVH3 R&D Intake Port Flow Numbers
38xcfm w/ 2.125
400+cfm w/ 2.165
Working on making sure the production versions match as close as possible to the R&D hand porting.
Going on my 416
12-1 compression btr cathedral heads
Btr 246/260 111
Holley Split single plane
ATM 1050 carb
holley term x
Flt lvl5 4l60
Yank 4000ss
4.10 gears
3050-3100lb race weight.
I went with the canted valve heads for several reasons. 1 i have dished pistons and needed the 61cc to retain my 12-1 compression. 2 powered metal guides. 3 hollow intake valves. 4 i already have a cathedral intake manifold.
