Will the tray and pick up tube fit from the 05 cts v onto the ls3? I’ve searched can’t seem to find anything. I picked up a ls3 for my 05 cts v cause the ls6 timing chain gave out and destroyed everything. Or can I use the ls3 pan to go into my car?

Pans and pickups, except for dry sump versions, are all interchangeable.
Always use the pickup matched to the pan.

So my main question now is will a ls3 oil pan clear and fit in a 05 cts v ?? I got a crate ls3 and really don’t want to take the pan off if it’s not necessary

It shouldn’t fit. Two totally different pans. Changing pans isn’t. Big deal.

No. As said, they're very different. The CTS-V pan is sorta unique in any case.
