Nice Numbers, I'd say his dyno is more accurate than most. (compared to track results) its surely not going to give you anything. My car made 446 rwhp on his dyno and you see my times in my Sig.

Tusky's numbers compared to mine. My car would be faster with his engine in it.

Holly springs is my closest track and its usually closes this month. I wanted to take the car to LS fest but this build snowballed. One thing lead to the next on this build and some unexpected parts had be to bought and waited on upon this build.

On another note this build goes to show what a factory GM head with some spices can make the same power as a high dollar set of aftermarket heads. These heads was ported by ZZracer at home and his heads delivers the power. The cam is what makes this build as well. After countless of hours on the phone and texts the magic camshaft was chosen by ZZracer. 111+3 LSA really made this a torquey machine on a heartbreaker dyno.

I know everyone talks valve events these days, but I'm still a huge fan of targeting a specific LSA. Cams ground on 110-112 LSA's consistently deliver fantastic torque curves. Well done overall. Fun powerband

Thanks. I have to agree with you Ryan. The LSA in most builds are mostly overlooked most of the time and only the duration gets the attention. Talking to ZZracer on the phone you realize the LSA plays a major role in a build (guy is wizard in LS motors). He know the combos that works.

David Vizard also preaches that LSA in most builds are wrong and thats why they lack torque per cube. His famous words are "Torque is King". The incoerrect LSA equals a slow/sluggish car. Torque is what moves the car not the horsepower.

Both of the builds have great #'s. Interesting to see the difference the added overlap makes. Your's carries out a little better, but Tusky's turns on a lot sooner and makes more avg torque through the range.

When I put my engine together I was doing a budget build. I bought my cam used on tech for $200 shipped. It's a similar cam on 114 LSA. I only used it because it was cheap. We chose Tusky's cam to make it perform like it does.
Thanks!

For a $200 cam, it ran real good👍. I know you don't stay still, I'm just waiting to see what cam you do next in your car. I keep having a thought to do a custom 238/238 110+0. I have a new build coming up that I am on the fence on a few things, I want it to hit mid-range like a mf'r. I want it basically violent from 4000-7500rpm. Still in the thinking about stages.
