Running a cammed, heads LS3 with Johnson 2116LSR lifters, .660 springs CHE trunions and recent Smeding Performance 11 degree cylinder Heads swapped.
I had existing GPI SS3 cam and Johnson 2116LSR lifters kept both during the swap to smeding heads. It seems the valvetrain has increased a bit since I got it back in 1500 miles.
I emailed Smeding performance and their response:I checked with my builder and he normally runs 8.325" pushrods in our builds with Johnson 2116LSR lifters, but with .051" head gaskets.Factoring in the difference in head gasket thickness, your pushrods at 8.310" should be the correct length.

Mods, please move to Gen4 engine.
