3 inch diameter pipes, bone stock. The wheels in the second picture are optional on the GTO for 2005.

Looking at Nineball's pic of the rear fascia, I would expect an oval or rectangular tip based on the shape of the cutout.

Here's the Pontiac Autocross body kit in Torrid Red,

Picture it with the new hood for 2005. Not too shabby.

That picture is not of the production 2005 rear bumper.

(although I agree to an extent. I think I'll like the car with the optional rims + autocross pkg and the hood with no scoops)

Not ugly - just bland and rather dated. The rear looks amazing like my daughter's 96 Civic coupe. The front? 98 Grand Prix - good looking then, now yesterday's news. Gotta love that flat torque curve, though!

Damn now they have the motor they just have to make it look like a muscle car instead of a grand am/family car. I bet they would be huge sellers if they redesigned the front end to not resemble any of the current models.

Nice pics and source btw

It already looks like a muscle car. In fact, muscle cars tend to look a lot like the cars they're based on, and nobody cared. GTOs, Novas, 442s, Gran Sports, even my Grand National.

Except now the car the current GTO is based on isn't sold here.

Red face

I would be pretty pissed off right now If I just put down 30 plus grand for the new GTO when they have the "newer" and better one coming out shortly...

I think the new c6 with the Z51 package could do it.
Maybe a 11.9. They have a different gear box than the t-56 with better gearing.

Well its a sure bet the 2005 GTO is getting a LS2 since it's replacing the LS1 when the C6 hits the streets. I read it's getting 395hp and the Vette is getting 400hp. But as we all know with our f-bodies the C6 and '05 GTO will dyno about the same

i dont kno if anyone else would like this but i think they should extend the door make it a lil longer more like the Camaros and T/A's....itd fit better cuz theres that HUGE *** space they got there behind the door in front of the rear wheels....i would definitely go for the AutoX body kit...no doubt looks much better...more aggressive....and i think if the door was longer....and added a lil more shape....itd look sweet....i mean F-bods look amazing form all angles....the autoX body kit takes care of the front and back for sure...lowers the side a lil bit....but the door would definitely set it off IMO...make them a lil longer....give them a lil better shape..roudn it off insteada gng straight down...if anyoone else can picture this car with a longer door....and downsize the back seat windows this car would DEFINITELY Appeal to others more

I agree my thoughts on the looks is subjective. Just doesn't do it for me. But it's putting down GREAT power and, as we all know, has HUGE potential being an LSX engine.

theres some kinda ram air hood already selling thru the dealers
theres a yellow goat with a ramair hood at a local pontiac dealer out here. Thats the only difference between the rest of the goats on the lot though, just the hood
I remember reading something about the hood on the windowsticker, but i already forgot
but the hood looks kinda similiar to a LT1 Fbody WS6 hood, just more rounded off
