the proper thing to do when comparing cars like that, would be give each person 60K, a month, and no driver can get the same car, that would test each car's potential w/ the money left over from the initial cost for mods(whatever you want)...some cars will have more expendable money than others...

The Brits are funny. The guy referred to us as one of the colonies.
I do not care if they like the vette or not. I would not have a TVR because it is ugly, or the NSX because it is gutless at low rpms.
Opinions aside, what I did find upsetting is they went on and on about leaf springs. They did not mention what they were made of or how little mass they possessed. Sadly they are not clever enough to see the leaf spring design is a very effective one.

I am VERY surprised they didn't bash the pushrods inside the motor while they were on the leaf spring subject.
I wonder who sells more cars?
Our Vette or their NSX or a TRV?
Appearently someone must like the american muscle.
I do agree that our plastic pieces can sometimes be cheeply made, but I would rather have nice looking cheep plastic, then a 20,000 dollar extra bill and nice looking expensive plastic.
It was a cool vidoe to watch and really showed us what the next vette is all about.
BTW how in the hell did they get one way over there before we got them here?
GAY....

The funny thing is that the test driver on the road track was literally hanging the *** end out around virtually every turn they showed... no WONDER it didn't turn a faster lap than an Evo... if they had bothered to drive the car PROPERLY, there's no telling how well it would have done.

Bloody hell! A couple of mincer TV presenters cast some misinformed dispersions on the C6 so the whole UK has to be nuked! It's good to see that the global perception of Americans as ignorant, xenophobic ******** isn't being reinforced here.

Personally, I love how stiff the Corvette and F-Body clutches are. It does require more muscle, but it makes it really difficult for weak azz ricers to drive (or try to steal) our cars. My older sister always has to comment about how stiff my clutch is compared to the one in her Civic. I always tell her it's more fun and more rewarding when the car isn't trying to shift for me.
