Hi Kris
I am going to rebuild my LS6. Is it right the LS2 oil pump is a better pump because of its higher capicity? If so do you have in stock, how much, and part Number.
Regards
Colin

12559378 is a 5.7L LS1 block from 1999-2000, possibly early 2001.
From https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....36&postcount=8 :
"The 1999-03 LS1’s [cylinder heads] have casting number 241"
12568952 (you had an extra 8 in there) appears to be a 6.0L LS2 block used in the 2005 Cadillac CTS-V.

LS7 Engine Covers - These are the red covers that snap onto the top of the engine. If you can't get the pair for $70, drop me a line.

Well, since we're digging up this old thread I thought I should post the solutions to a couple of the problems listed here.
FUEL INJECTOR PROBLEM:
We have a spacer kit that allows you to use the LS1 fuel rail and injectors on the LS2 manifold. It includes bolts, billet aluminum clearcoated spacers and o-rings (2 extra).

$39.39
THROTTLE BODY WIRING PROBLEM:
We have an adapter harness that allows you to plug-and-play a LS2 throttle body into the LS1/LS6 drive by wire car.
$50.00
CAM SENSOR / KNOCK SENSOR WIRING PROBLEM:
Most people know by now that you can extend your harnesses and route the knock sensors to the side of the block behind the motor mounts. We are working on a quality harness that allows you to do this plug-and-play with no cutting. It will be ready very soon
$TBD
MAP SENSOR WIRING PROBLEM:
We are also developing an extension harness for the MAP sensor so that you don't have to cut your wires there either.

That is correct on the reluctors. Besides the part number, the only other way to tell which engine you have is the color of the crank sensor. The 24x has a black sensor, and the 58x has a grey sensor. Keep this in mind when you are ordering any engine managment systems such as our calibratable MEFI controller.
I have already had to play the send your stuff back so it can be modified game. Suppliers, be sure to ask them which one they have so you don't have to do any more work than necessary!!!
