This car would look much better with the Judge bonnet scoops and engine.

That's the exact thought I had. With 2 intake valves and only one exhaust valve, I would think you would need a lot more duration on the exhaust side to compensate.

Wouldn't heat create havoc with the induction system set right over the engine?

J-Rod you are right about that manifold. The LS2 looks a lot rounder on the bends. That one pictured looks like a FAST in the way its runners appear. Geez...now I have to wait even longer for a new manifold

The manifold looks exactly like the ls7 intake.

Looks like that concept GTO has the 6.4 ls7 in it.

I doubt that, since it says "389" right in front of the engine. That is almost definitely the cubic inch displacement number.

I think you're correct. Either that, or it is a custom motor using some LS7 parts, like the intake and heads.

There are some guys on the various Corvette forum who are absolutely CONVINCED the new Z06 will be a 7.0L. I personally think that's wishfull thinking. Anyone care to comment?

Its an LS7 intake w/ LS7 heads.... Casting number 8452.

The new Z06 is NOT a 7.0L. Guaranteed.

Cool! Where did you get your info from? And don't say "a good source." :p

The motor in the concept GTO has a lot of parts from the Pratt & Miller CTS-V racing team FYI.

My bad...I keep forgetting how far GM rounds up. Like our "5.7" liter. Which is not really that close at all.

4.135" bore? That is super sweet. We can have 430 cubes (7.0L) with a 4" stroke...

not too close to corvette territory? i dont know about you but i've seen/heard ALOT more Goat commercials than corvette commercials.
if they do it'd be aswesome but concepts usually dont go into production the way they're shown
