i was talking with an engineer from australia the other day and he metioned the Holden, (the gto real roots) has the oil sump on the front of the engine with the pick up up front also. And he has seen in drag racing apps where the oil isn't anywhere near the pickup and the engine granading. anyone heard of any gto's in the states with problems like that?

Okay.......I'm really confused...(normal stuation)...Are we going to get the 3 valve heads??? I thought I read we were stuck with 2 valve heads???

Current rumor is 2 valve, with bigger, higher ports than the ls6. It looks like the heads are the ones being used on the Caddy CTSVr race car, see the tech specs from J-rods post. Would be interesting if all Caddy did was destroke an LS7 motor to 358, they use a 4.15 bore and 3.27 stroke, and 2.2 intake valves

Did anyone happen to notice just how rectangular the intake runners look??? Looks like a Ls7 in stealth mode!
