Default LS2 truck intakes (SSR)

Any new information?
I am really considering swaping my intake. I think I am leaving alot of power on the table, I have a ported TB and stock truck intake. I am sure that my 408 would perform alot better with a 90mm throttle body. Does the intake flow better?
Looking at the horsepower and torque comparision between the two LS2 intakes, it looks like the truck style is 5 HP lower and 5 TQ more. Do ya'll think it would be worth the money?
Thanks,
Jonathan

Yes we are Engine Dyno testing next week the LS2 intake with a 383 I'll post the data then. We are also making a cable and IAC version of the 90MM T-body for the LS2 intake!

Thanks

SF,

Do you know what changes were made to the LS2 truck manifold?

Well, you can't fit the car intake with truck accessories, so you need the truck intake. You can fit it on your truck with the stock fuel rails, but you have to trim the fuel rail tabs on the intake to get the rails to seat the injectors. You can mill it to look nice (there is plenty of meat on the threaded insert after you trim), but some careful work with a die grinder works too.
The trouble is that you can't use the LS2 TB without reworking the ETC. You can make an adapter plate to put a big FAST throttle body on there though.
