Possible pic source...
I read a post on another board. The poster wrote:

I went over to digitalcorvette and there is this thread: (requires registration)

I don't know if it's any truth to it or not, but those wheels...
:wipes slobber off chin:
I hope those make it to production somewhere, some how???
Cool lookin ride regardless, but the rear wheel brake duct looks like the little scoop on the front, just copied, rotated, and pasted.

I've read the thread on digitalcorvettes.com and it seems that was an official pic from GM. It was issued to the press so they could prepare an article. There was an embargo placed on the specs and the picture, not to be released until Jan 10, 2005. Its an amazing vehicle, though I am dissapointed with the 475ftlbs and the fact that the exterior is so bland. That aside this thing is stil gonna kick major viper butt

Here's the pic:
I doubt the 475 ft-lb number myself. A 7.0L should be making that much without even working hard - at least if you assume the noted specs are true. I would not at all be surprised to see production numbers closer to 500 ft-lb - if not, I can imagine it either being heavily underrated or simply "detuned" in an effort to reduce load on drivetrain components. Either way, with only 500hp this engine would appear to have some serious potential with only minor upgrades (thinking even just cam, exhaust, tuning or something to that effect) - especially if the rumors are true on how well the LS7 heads flow.

if that is a photoshop, i'd have to meet the person that did it and shake their hand, because that is practically impossible that it could have been photoshopped, theres just too much detail for a car that there is so little photographs of, secondly, a cad model is possible i suppose, although that would be absolutely tedious to draw, especially since we dont even know the dimensions of the actual parts
