Default LS2 Intake Fitment Issues

I just got my LS2 intake, and decided to set it on the motor to check for cllearance issues. This is how it sits now:

It's sitting right on the coolant crossover tube, and it's holding it up at least 1/4". Is this a common thing with 90mm intakes?

And if it does sit, it doesn't look like it'll clear a Meziere water pump housing...
Any Ideas here?

Has anyone made a FAST 90mm intake clear a meziere housing?

U need to bend the coolant tube just down slightly. It still might hit the valley cover bolts, the LSX gives u button heads to replace on the valley cover.

Answered this in the other thread. You dont need to worry about the valley cover bolts tho. There is clearance in the LS2 for them. Looks like you may have to do dome grinding on the TB tho. Its damn close to the WP.

I had to bend the coolant tube a little as well with my 90mm LSX.

I really wish I could say sometime soon, but I'm changing out nitrous kits, intakes, TB's, MAF's, airlids, rear axles, torque arms, driveshafts... and now, probably the water pump too.
So I won't be able to give an accurate comparison over the LS6 and ported TB.
But I'll post up the results as soon as I can get them It'll most likely be May though.
