Default LS2 Corvette Oil Pan Question

I understand that GM has addressed the oil starvation issue on the LS2 Corvette pan. Does anyone know if that will fit the LS6?

I asked that question in an earlier post but got no answer. Anybody tried to fit an LS2 oil pan into an F-body? Anyone? Bueller?

I have had the chance to look at a few of the LS2 complete engines we have recieved. I don't know it for sure, but it looks like it would with out a problem. The LS2 pan does not have the kick out, and looks alot like an F body pan.

What pan are you putting on the LS2s strokers or are all of them shorts?
If the LS1 pan goes on the LS2 I think we know the answer as well.
I want to put LS2 pan on my C5.

The LS7 is using a double-row oil pump and a larger cam cover. I assume the oil will be routed to the rear of the engine (and back) by plumbing it through the oil pan.

Hopefully (have questions to those who know) the pump, cover, and pan will bolt right onto the LS2/LS1/LS6 engines.

The LS7 uses a dry sump oiling system. I am assuming the double row oil pump is for added volume, or multiple stages.

Yes all of my LS2 402's are basicly sold as a short block. I have a few customers that are having me bolt there heads and a few other things on but no pans. The Ls6 pan would bolt up to the Ls2 block though, and the Ls2 pan would bolt up to the LS6. From everything I have seen, the LS2 pan is baffled alot better than the LS6 Corvette pan.

What are you guys doing to have oil starvation. While the LS2 pan might help a little, the LS1/LS6 pan (corvette anyway) worked fine. If you're really have problems, an accusump is a cheap, easy mod that should solve all of your problems. This is what I ran in my old non-drysumped World Challenge car, and I never had any starvation except on one very highly used (worn out) engine, and even that was at the long, off camber carousel at Sears Point.

The F-body LS1 pan is inferior to the Vette LS1/6 pan for oil control, at least from what I know. Autocrossing places just as much strain on the oiling system as RR/OT, so any ability to better control the oil is welcomed. True, an Accusump is a good piece, but some classes may not allow it and therefore a more "stealthy" approach is required.

Since it appears the LS2 pan fits, what is the price?

It is about $200 plus the pickup tube.
