Default 06 LS7 pushrods

Anyone know what length they are and how much they are going to be? I did a search and only came up with that they were titanium. Thanks, Darrell

But I bet they sure would allow your engine to rev faster. I wonder how much those babies would let you raise your rev limiter with some titanium retainers.

well, if Ti PR's are included in part of a very stout valvetrain, then they aren't an issue. but throwing those into a stock or stock-like valvetrain could cause some serious issues w/the first over-rev. i think if you could get a completely Ti valvetrain you'd be set....for some SERIOUS rpm's. too bad most Ti valves are race only....the metal is too brittle. Predator-Z had a thread about them a few months back.

I'd be willing to bet that they aren't titanium. The pushrod weight really isn't seen in the valvetrain. NASCAR runs like a 1/2" or 9/16" pushrod and it's chromemoly

I believe the connecting rods are Ti. Not the pushrods.

The block and pistons. Hmmm... a titanium and ceramic alloy for a piston is not a bad idea though...

It was a joke.
How do you alloy titanium with ceramic?

I'll still stay with my statement. I think when we actually get into the motor it won't have the Ti pushrods and springs. Nobody in today's world uses a Ti pushrod...nobody. So why would GM use it in a production motor? And the springs....if one broke, it would shatter into a million pieces. If it broke you would have to rebuild the motor.

This motor trend video says it has TI connecting rods, pushrods, and intake valves.
No mention of the springs.
