I'd say just as much if not more than the LS1/6 blocks.

We are rating them at 1000HP. How you get there is up to you

If you are looking at that much power, I would be more concerned with the rotating. Make sure you use billet main caps and good quality internals.
------
No knock sensors as in LS1/6 locations. I modify the blocks to accept the LS1/6 sensors on the sides of the blocks but I have not completely tested that location yet. I'll be finished with that this week. Just mounting them in the spare motor mount holes will not work with some header systems.

I am not speaking for Mikey on this but this is what I have seen...

You wouldnt believe the number of people who go out after buying a brand new motor, strap on nitrous and run it with NO CLUE on how to tune.

Motor spins a bearing, throws a rod, lifts a head or drops a ringland from detonation. Person calls vendor and says "I never ran nitrous, your motor is junk"

Someone decides to swap injectors, the tuner makes a mistake and washes down the cylinders.

Someone misshifts at 6800rpm motor sees 9800rpm and throws a rod.

Engines fault? NOPE!

Owners fault? YEP!

And what intake would you use?
Gen-IV blocks use different knock sensors in different locations than the Gen-III's. The Gen-IV sensors are not compatible with the earlier controllers.

LS2 blocks have the knock sensors on the side of the block instead of the lifter valley on the Gen-III's.

Has anybody tried adapting the Gen-III sensors to fit on the side mounts of an LS2? You'd have to re-cal the knock sensor, but it might work...
