Default LS2 Large Bore Blocks and Engines Available - Re-post

Although the other thread was informative, it was not the intention of my post. This is an information post. Please no hi-jacking. If someone wants to start a technical discussion over wet vs dry sleeving, post a techinal thread.

As I posted previously, we have LS2 dry sleeve blocks available for immediate delivery. Choice of bore up to 4.155". Price is $3395 outright.

Rapid Motorsports can also build you an LS2 based motor from 402 - 447 cubic inches. All of our motors are built in house. I have several up on the site now but call with your specific needs. We use high quality components in all of our Dominator series engines.

Thanks everyone!

hmmm that was good info in the other post, and now you deleted it? Steve seemed to be providing good info and was helping me make a more informed decsion about buying into this whole process. I do not know if you were stepping on his toes as you had stated, but I am giving a thumbs down on deleting the whole thread. Does not pass the sniff test for me. Oh well.

The other post was Mikeys post about their new dry sleeve LS2 and it kinda got hijacked. Like he mentioned above just put a technical thread about Wet and dry sleeves in the Internal engine section and have the discussion there.

[/end of hijack]

Knock sensors at present will not work. You will need an LS2 specific timing cover with cam sensor (sold seperately).

Why no warranty? You would at least hope for 90 day or something...

I'd like some of those myself Shorts, less cam are $6800.

I will only warrantee an engine that I install and tune or that a repuatable shop does (Thunder, ESP, etc) especially an LS2 that has no knock sensors. If the final assembly or tuning is not done right, it would take less than 90 days to destroy a new engine.

Out of curiousity, and I know it has not been tested, but how much boost/spray could these block possibly handle?

I'm missing something...why no knock sensors?

And what intake would you use?
