Just asking but...why would you want to do that swap? Don't the LS2 intakes flow much better than the LS6 intakes???

After looking at a few small pictures of it. It looks like the TB bolt pattern isn't even close. The LS6 is a three bolt pattern and the LS2 is a 4 bolt. I can't tell where the MAP sensor is although it's probably in the back like the LS1. I'm also guessing that the FI O-Rings are the same as the LS1 so, you will need to swap those out. I don't think there is any OEM or aftermarket intake that doesn't have fitment issues.

For the benefit of those perusing this post, I'm assuming this is for your 05 Goat, no?

Oh...Stupid me! The LS6 uses a 78mm TB so, you would need to get a new fly by wire 78mm one. FAST is gonna be easier if I can figure out the power steering thing....

I've got an LS6 inlet manifold with a cable 78mm Throttle Body here now atop the new LS2 in my car. I did it that way because my harness doesnt have fly by wire capability or the correct electrical connectors to suit the LS2 injectors.
So I re-used the TB , fuel rail and manifold off my old engine rather than buying more stuff.
Am still using LS1 28# injectors but have a set of SVO #30 to go in before the next tune. It does go hard.....very torquey.

Fitment issues were very minimal for me. You will have to reverse engineer a bunch of electrical connectors for yours though.

.
The intake itself will bolt right up and fit fine .... you're going to have to toss the LS2 throttle body and injectors, however. (i'm not sure about the fuel rail)

I really can't see all this being worth it for the small gain you'd see on a stock cubed LS2.

no no, not stock - stage 3 heads milled to 11.3:1 compression, 232/236/113 cam, headers, intake, exhaust. and partial tune with ls2 edit from jeremy formato. so do you think it would be worth it now, i was also going to have the ls6 intake ported and cleaned up. if you think this would be a waste of time let me know.

Man...that sounds like an awful lot of work! Even more so than the issues with my FAST. Just drop the bucks and get the FAST 90!!

If you`ve already got that much $$ in parts just do the Fast 90 intake it will flow much better then the LS6.
