Default Porting stock heads?

Quick question..

Would it be worth it to get my stock heads ported and polished? Would I see decent gains or not.. how much on average does head work like that run?

Of course it would make more power. Companies like MTI have made their reputation on porting stock heads. Their 2E heads flow better than stock LS6 heads. The question becomes whether your wallet can afford it. it all costs money!

The stock LS1 heads flow very good with a little port work. No need for aftermarket heads unless you are going extreme or big CID and boost. We can do stage 1 style heads with stock valves and upgrade springs for under $1000 and stage 2 with big valves and dual springs for $1750
