What else is needed on top of the 6600? Valvetrain, valves, oil pump, etc?

I assume this engine is a direct replacement for the LS1... what mods have to be done fit the motor?

How much extra for a non-eagle crank? Callies perhaps?

How do you feel about a 402 making 550 n/a (w/ the right supporting mods) + a 150-200 shot using the Eagle crank?

What compression ratio will the -2cc pistons allow? How big of a cam could use w/ NON milled LS6 heads?

So what if I want to go solid roller. I am thinking of a low compression Solid Roller 402 with AFR 225 heads. What are we talking about$$$$. Would like to see compression around 8.5 or 9:0. I am looking at the new Kenne Bell blower.

How is the quality of those new scat rods they look good for the price. Do they need any additional machining other than putting on the pistons and balancing the whole assembly? Have you guys built any stock displacement Ls1 or Ls2 motors with them yet?

6600 Is with Heads and Cam, why would you need valves and valvetrain... already on the heads, no?

Other than that, what else is needed? Water pump and such will all carry over? Same mounting points? What about computer? Will the ls1 pcm with a reflash or tune work fine?

So with 225 heads and a good size cam, long tubes, no cats, ls6 or fast intake manifold, and a dyno tune through an M6 I'll be looking at 500+rwhp N/A?

Hey Jason, Remember Super Shops? They had a 1$ layaway plan that would hold the price. Can you do that for me? LOL

I think that would be very reasonable. How much above 500 RWHP you want to go just depends on how much cam and compression you'd like to put up with.

Feel free to give us a call or shoot me an e-mail at trevor@texas-speed.com if you have any specific questions or concerns. I'll be more than happy to put a complete estimate together for you so you can know exactly how much you'd be looking at.
