How much would a shortblock cost set up for NOS. I have everything to bolt to it. Car in Sig is what I have for it. What do you think? Thanks! I spray 150 shot, would like to go to a 250 with TNT ring.

I used the base shortblock (iron version) in my TA & sprayed a 300 shot several times. For a 250 shot I would definately go head studs, but the short block is definately up for it with plenty of fuel & a good tune

It depends on how the engine is optioned out, but you would currently be looking at 2-3 weeks from the time the order is placed until it is ready to ship.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

no problem I'm going to give you a call later this week with another possible option on cam choice. I'm just waiting for a call back from the cam manufacturer.

I received quite a few PM's over the weekend, and I answered all of them this morning. Let me know if any of you have any other questions or concerns. I'll be more than happy to put a complete estimate together for anyone that's wanting to know what it will cost to the cent with shipping and all.

So, does this LS2 shortblock bolt in place of a 4.8, 5.3, or 6.0 engine in an NBS truck without difficulty? I.e., do all of the accessories, intake, accessory brackets, etc. from the trucks fit?

The LS2 will bolt directly in place of the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0L engines. You will have to use your valve covers so you can keep your PCV system, but other than that it will be the same as the LS1 cars: extending the wires for the camshaft position sensor and relocating the knock sensors into the side of the block. There are quite a few places you can screw the knock sensors into the block, but the deciding factor will typically be clearance. Being a truck, you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever.

I've answered all PM's and e-mails for quotes. Please let me know if any of you have any other questions or concerns. We're always here to help!

Jonny - The $6600 that Jason quoted was just for the short-block and the basic parts. This was not assembled with everything that you'll need. I can certainly work up a complete estimate for you with all necessary gaskets, bolts, etc. Just let me know what your e-mail address is, and I will have an estimate to you tomorrow morning.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

How many RPM's are you looking to turn? Will it be a hydraulic or solid-roller? Will it be street driven or a race-only application? Let me know, and I can get some information and pricing for you.
