Default Estimate HP and Price

Guess the HP this engine will make and how much it will cost...

The goal is a dependable, 600+ FWHP N/A road-race engine. The configuration is an all-bore (4.125") Darton dry-sleeved, (3.622") forged stock stroke 387ci, dry-sump, solid-roller, that runs on 91 pump gas.

Here's the break-down:

I want to shift at 7600 rpm (rev limit 7700). Yes, it will be a block from Steve at Race Engine Development. Please don't hesitate to express your thoughts regarding the solid-roller setup and the rpm capability of the best hydraulic lifters.

Sponsors, please feel free to PM or email with any options and pricing. All comments welcome.

You might give a call to Mike at Total Engine Concept in Rivieria Beach, FL (561) 842-2813, as he is doing the race engine program for the Mosler race car http://www.moslerauto.com/. As this road race car is mid engine, and is LS based, they also use the Kinsler intake system, as seen below

Thanks, Steve. I will do that. That Kinsler system is too fine...along with that car. Nice setup!
