Good Cam for the LS2??
What would be a good cam to take advantage of the stall? The car sees daily duty in the spring/summer/early fall so nothing too big. I wanna keep it streetable with good driveabilty. I want a cam that doesnt require head/engine mods, besides upgraded springs.
Any suggestions with some power estimates?
The search feature is great but theres just so many to choose from!!
Thanks

I had a 6.0L with unported LS6 heads (basically an iron LS2) in my 3600# F-Body and put down 385 rwhp and ran 11.4's with my custom ground 228/232, 598/598 cam. It had a choppy idle, but with good tuning, it was totally driveable. Lots of area under the curve to move a heavy car.
If you decide you want to go a little on the big side, shoot me a PM - I am selling the cam and brand new dual springs/retainers/seats/seals. I have a 408 on the way, and that cam is way too small for the new motor.
Thanks

That'd make insane power on the LS2, and with the added cubic inches, it should be as driveable as a 232/236 or 234/238 cam is on an LS1.
Thoughts?

1.) Z-Plus 220/224 @ .050 .551/.551 lobe sep 114 ......$308.75
2.) Little Thumper 228/228 @ .050 .600/.600 lobe sep 114 .....$354.25
(this cam comes on a 113 lobe sep, but I can order it with a 114 or a 115)
Let me know if I can help!
