Assuming they would, my vote would be to get ATI to build LS7 specific harmonic balancers for the F-Body and Truck... as those are probably the 2 most popular accessory drives used anyway. Although they would be a VERY low volume and expensive piece, IMO, it would be better than losing the dry sump because you cut the snout. Don't forget you would also need to machine the block for the dip stick tube. By the time eveything is said and done... it would probably be cheaper to buy a 7L block when they become available and start from scratch with, say, an Eagle or even a Callies crank...
