Do I need a LS2 rear cover as well for the LS2 block?

Perfect picture of one installed. What's odd it looks like the LS1 dampener is installed.

So for 10 bucks, would it be something I needed to purchase?

Also, back to the original topic, will I be ok with my rear LS1 cover or will I need the LS2?

Answered a number of times. read posts #2 and #16. With the $ you have invested I think it would be foolish not to use the dampener. But you don't have to.

Yes it will work, i reused it on my budys ls2 and all u need to get is a new gaskit and rear maneseal
