There are things like opening and closing ramps and valve acceleration rates that vary dramatically from cam company to cam company. GM lobes much gentler then aftermarket lobes, since they ahve to pass stringent durability tests. THe aftermarket is not concerned about that, they make parts for more power.

Are you trying to say the cam companys are only going to use their lobes?
If you read the 2nd post, maybe you would understand that when I say specs they are a little more specific than just saying 211/230 or just throwing #'s out there.
