just thinking that could be a good upgrade if so?

In the tank - meaning it is part of the fuel pump module? Does this mean it is part of the sender/pump/regulator assembly? Anyone have any idea on retro fitting that to an early car? I was planning using aeromotive pump and regulator set to 43 - 45 lbs or the factory setting with a stainless tank.

Anyone worked this out yet?

Exactly!

Too much work. Just use a high pressure fuel pump and an external regulator.
I was planning using aeromotive pump and regulator set to 43 - 45 lbs or the factory setting with a stainless tank.

Anyone worked this out yet?
I have a Walbro 340 pump in my tank with an Aeromotive 13109 regulator in the engine bay.
