Anyone crack the LS7 PCM?
Wondering if anyone has cracked the factory PCM for the LS7 of if the aftermarket is my only choice. Several people have said they are close or working on it but nothing yet.
Also - anyone have a dry sump system they want to share some pictures of? Seems straightforward but information is always welcome. Someone on the list was going to manufacture an adaptor - did that get off the ground?

Someone was going to make an adaptor to the GM pan to have AN fittings on the outside to allow us of braided hose versus the unique GM peices. I hate to buy the GM lines only to cut them up. I planned on using an aftermarket Moroso or Barnes dry sump tank but the connection to the pan looks very unique.
Any hints on the PCM or go with Big Stuff?

I hardly ever travel. Hard enough to keep up here. Haven't talked to Mike in a year or so. I'll let you know what it makes. Should be interesting.
Take care, Ed

Can you share how you managed to get the LS7 running on the factory PCM? Or did you replace it with the LS1 style arrangement? I do not want to disassemble the engine and swap reluctors etc.

It's in a new Z06 Vette. If you are talking about an engine swap, I guess I missed that part. Sorry.

Scott will chime in here shortly on the adapter manifold!

we have -12 fittings available frrom the gmpp catalog. the part# is 25534412 and it includes 2 fittings bolts and gaskets. these parts will adapt the stock pan to an style fittings. contact your local gmpp dealer for ordering. They are listed in the 2006 catalog.
Also per the latest issue of Hot Rod magizine, the ls 7 article states how the engine has been run.

Wow, I wasn't aware that old MEFI IV marine box used a can interface. Hmmm, learn something new every day.

Does't the -12 actually stand for 12 1/16th of an inch? that would make the fittings .750 i.d. I thought that the dash number stood for the number of 1/16 of an inch. I may be wrong.
