Good thing is the project has given me lots of good info for when I start my own LS7 build.

LS7 Swap Completed LS7 into an 05 C5 Convertible is in and running! Mods are Callaway Honker, Vette Doctors Ls7 Long Tube Headers, Callaway Rear Exhaust, Doing some
break in and driveability tuning with LS2 Edit.Initial Tune looks good with Long term Fuel Trims at -1 to -2 and car feels really smooth and strong. I will Dyno the first of the week and post. Thanks to Katech again for the torque specs - Crazy to disasemble a brand new engine to change cam gear and crank reluctor. Now I have tuning ability with LS2 Edit and it all looks factory - Sad part this is my dream car that Iam building for a customer - Half of my order for Z06 brakes arrived no pads and missing one front and one rear caliper-Good news is they are a direct bolt on and clear the wheels 19/18!

We moved the computer to the top with the same mounting (plastic) from the bottom
Then utilized the bottom mounting holes that held the computer molunting for the
dry sump tank (g.m.) Then we made a bracket from a piece of aluminum for the top
Fits Nice and looks factory
