So is the LS7r a different block? Like a reworked/improved C5r?

I have read that the c5r motor made somewhere in the area of 590hp through its restrictors. Does the c6r make much more than this? Without the restrictors in place, are you saying you could possibly double this number? Very interesting.

The LS7.R is a completely new block, not sleeved.

Without the restrictors in place it would make about 20% more horsepower. The engine would have to be re-engineered but could potentially make double.

all motors have to run restrictors when racing in the GT (or GTS or whatever the call it now). its to try and make the racing closer and not so much of a walkover. also helps keep costs down for the smaller, lower buget teams.

chris.

PS, looks very nice!

So what makes the LS7R block different from the LS7 block?

Why would it not be avaliable to the public?

Do you guys sell the intake (or what ever is on top of the engine in that big pic NTSOS posted?

The LS7.R block is a unique casting made just for the race program. It's not sleeved. Would you want to pay $20,000 for a block?

Yes, we can sell that intake or something similar.

The engine running durability on the dyno was the GTO.R engine. It was simulating laps at Daytona for 3 days.
are you guys going to the 24 hours of daytona?
