I called a few of your dealers in town that are listed on your website, none of them called me back.

Just wondering when the Warhawk LS7X block will be available?

How much is the bare block?

What heads will work with it and what do they flow?

Heads are due out in April. The block is due out a little before. I imagine the heads will flow as well or better on the intake than the LS7s(350+), and much better than the LS7's on the exhaust.

I'm sure the WP guys will be here soon to answer your questions directly, if not I think I might be able to fairly accuratly answer your questions. In the mean time, you can call a sales guy at WP such as Clarance Powell at 631 981-1918 ext.107... they are out of LI NY.

If no one from WP chimes in this morning I'll take a stab at answering your questions.

Thanks for your interest and here's some answers.
Ferocity is pretty close as we anticipate April - May for block and heads.
Our 9.200" block is $3999.99 and the 9.800" is priced at $4199.99. Each will have billet main caps and ARP fasteners. ARP head stud kits are specific to our blocks and have not been priced yet.
Both our LS7X 12 deg. head and the LS1X 15 deg. are in prototype form. It's our policy not to release flow figures until production pieces have been tested. This allows the user to have apples-apples data instead of revisions not seen in the early pieces.
Sorry you got no response to your calls but we believe that many dealers are traditional SBC/BBC folks who simply are not versed in the hi-tech "LS speak".
We are currently adding dealers who deal only in this market and many of those are sponsors and participants here. You'll see World in their ads.

I'm excited to announce that Katech is now a World products dealer and we are familiar with "LS speak." I think that's an understatement. Our close ties with Bill Mitchell and our manufacturing capabilities will help to make this engine all it can be.

Alright, thanks. I was interested in the same block Monty Williams will be using for his 427 TT set up. I want to do a similiar type of build in the same RWHP range. Do you know if he's using the 9.2 or the 9.8? I assume the 9.8 for these power levels.

are there any plans to build turn key creat motors (like the hardcore SBC stuff) using these blocks and heads????

Don't be upset at MerlinPro, I accidently misspoke yesterday morning while he and I were having a conversation. He simply repeated my mistake. The dates that we (MerlinPro, WorldTech, Warhawk 1) and our direct sales and distribution system have been holding to is late March/early April. We realize all consumers desires to have an advertised product come quickly to market, and we would like nothing more than to have it in the field right at this time. However, engineering and manufacturing a project of this magnitide present unique and unforseen challenges that come up from time to time. At this moment we feel good about the target dates we have set for our launches.

It has been discussed. We are still sorting that one out. There are quite a few dynamics that go into that one... What I am certain that we will do is offer block/head packages, and Block/head/manifold packages. There is a possibility of the two previous packages with rotating assemblies. Those are the directions we are primarly leaning towards.

Is it too early to ask for some specs you can forsee with these WB's that your planning on.....

Well I'd be real interested in seeing one of these!! A complete engine would rock I've previously owned a hardcore 540 so this was real exciting to see in national dragster last week!!!!!
