Wow...Look how thin the wall is on the left side of the port in the picture...Not much material before you get into the water jacket...

Also not a lot of material on the roof...

Looks like you will want to be REAL gentle with the die grinder..

Not sure if my first post uploaded and not wanting to brag but I've had LS7 intake flanges and a bespoke plenum for 12 months. Downside is that nobody in the UK has an LS7 to modify or turbocharge. If those L-92 ports are the same as ls7 then I've already got a versatile intake.

For everyones sake I wish they were but he L-92 has a shorter runner. The intake could be epoxied and then port matched and might work. Order a set of the L-92 heads and find out. They're pretty cheap.

I've been experimenting with the idea of using an LS7 manifold as a base for design and getting a mold done to match the L-92 heads. Would the interest be there if I were to make this a reality?

I am not a sponsor, so I cannnot discuss pricing, but it would be reasonable to match the price of the heads. No $850 intake for $400 dollar heads.

Hell yeah there would. You could easily make some coin. These would be the hot ticket for low buck 402's.

Thanks, Nate. I'll look into it a bit more seriously.

Don't forget, these heads can also bolt up to any LS2, LQ9, LQ4 and eventually the L-92 AL block when it is released. I'll check my sources.

I'd say go for it. IT never hurts to have another perspective in the market. The only issue, is that the larger market is the 3.89" bore people. BUT, with all the new LSX engines comming out, the 4.0" bore is starting to become more of the norm. Sales maybe slow to start, but you would gain momentum quickly when the newer blocks come out.

I'll PM Tony to have him contact you about Sponsorship costs and other things in reguard to this. He can tell you what is OK to say and what shoudl be avoided for the time being.

While I agree with the bore sizes, I think Patriot will fix those issues. And we all know their heads will be reasonably priced. They said in another thread that they recieved a few to start experimenting with. If these flow 314cfm stock and 340 cfm with a little port work, I think it would be a good option. Very affordable performance opportunity.

I emailed Tony in the past about sponsorship and never recieved a reply. I'm not actively selling anything yet for this market, so I wasn't too concerned. I'll be interested to know what he says. Thanks for your help.
