What size bore are you putting these on? What is the minimum bore that they will fit? I take it you are installing it with an LS7 intake. Have you decided on valves yet? They look great by the way. Can't wait to see them assembled and also your results with them.

From what Im told u gotta put these on a 4.000 bore or higher. Im going to either get a hardcore sheetmetal intake or get a more performance intake. Havent decided on valves yet and most likely I wont have them installed until june or maybe even later. So Im sure someone will have it done before me.

Besides the stock truck manafold I'm not sure there are any other options at this time. I'd love to hear otherwise.

Will the LS7 intake not fit? I was under the impression that these heads were based off of the LS7 head design.

Those look VERY similar to the LS7 heads. Can anyone explain the differences?

They are kinda close but not close enough to use as Ive read. LS7 intakes won't work.

Look at the side by side pic posted by Joseph. The runer is actually taller, so you'd have to fill the floor probably. Also, you'd have to re-drill the bolt holes as the pattern is differnet. But, I think you could do it.

I believe the LS7 heads are 12 deg heads, and these are 15 deg. Which might make the LS7 intake not able to work b/c of the angle. These heads are gonna be monsters for power production. I can't wait to see they put out. Good luck

The angle that you are referring to is the valve angle inside the head relative to the cylinder. The face of the heads are the same.
