I wanted to see if anyone knew what the LS7 rod length was ?

The problem is, I was hoping it was a 6.125", but that would be to good to be true. It just had to be smaller Just a heads up to everyone the rods are listed on gmpartsdirect.com now for $ 77.22 ea, which is a good price, but shipping & handling is 18.53 ea, so a set will be about 766.00, fair price for TI.

I should know my periodic table better... by TI do you mean titanium??? And if so, would a set of these fit an LS1 crank?

I can't imagine them resizing the pin and rod journal to be completely unique, but maybe Jason can shed some actual fact on those specs.

Ti is great for lightweight NA engines but not for high-power FI or nitrous. It's strong and light without being brittle. The problem with titanium connecting rods in high-po engines is that Ti doesn't return to it's original shape after being deformed like forged steel. The cumulative stresses of FI (particularily detonation) and nitrous cylinder pressures will bend the Ti con. rods under power that forged steel con. rods would have no trouble dealing with.
